Spoleto, a picturesque and austere city, with an ancient history, is one of the main tourist centers of Umbria, as well as for the importance of its archaeological, early medieval and Renaissance monuments.

Walking through the historic center you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Roman Empire by visiting the Roman Theater or crossing the Arch of Drusus and Germanicus. In the center you can visit the beautiful Roman House.
Then the Duomo, Palazzo Comunale. To visit the sources of Clitunno, the Ponte delle Torri. To see the religious buildings, in particular the Duomo or Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the church of Santa Eufemia of the twelfth century. The cultural and folkloristic events are innumerable.
The Festival of the Two Worlds. In August, the Spoleto Estate takes place, with many cultural and entertainment events, while the winter is the scene of evocative celebrations such as markets and numerous concerts, both in the theater and in the town squares. Gourmets will appreciate Vini nel Mondo, an event that takes place in the ancient cellars of Spoleto, but also the “typical Spoleto” gastronomic festival, with stalls of local products and many tastings offered by local locals in the first ten days of November.
